Frankie clearly does not understand all of the elements of his environment, but then neither do we fully understand our environment – for example, quantum physics and dark energy! Furthermore, Frankie sometimes makes mistakes because he is a puppy. We often make mistakes because we are human. We love Frankie, and he loves us.
Does God love us, and do we love God in return? Franklin is more than just a family pet: he is a loved family member. Surely you are more than just a lifeform or even a pet. Are you a family member: a loved child of God? Frankie doesn’t know everything, but he does know he is loved by us. You and I don’t know everything, but do we know that we are loved by God?

Awesome paintings Jim.I especially can’t believe the details in the painting with Franklin.Truly amazing! On a different note,It’s been a couple of crazy days at our church.Someone decided to take out three of our stain glass windows a couple of nights ago.We celebrated mass this morning as they were boarding up our windows.Needless to say that’s certainly an expensive repair.We received a number of condolences from our religious neighbours in our area. No religious group seems to go untouched these days .Hope all is well on your end.Blessings! Rick

I am so sorry to hear about the vandalism and damage to the three stained glass windows. I hope you can all find the forgiveness and the strength to move past this situation, turning it into a testament of love and faith.
