Dear Canadian Newsroom Vanguards,
Will factual journalism take up the mantle of excellent investigative reporting and answer some fundamental questions concerning the 2025 Federal Election result in the Ontario Riding of Carleton?
How does a Canadian federal election – particularly at the present critical geopolitical junction – condone a self-described “protest” ballot that lists 91 riding candidates?
And what legitimate standing has that “protest” ballot when its stated purpose is anything other than to record the undistracted and unencumbered will of the electorate to select a legitimate candidate to Federal office?
And when the course of an election and thereby a democracy is changed – and potentially drastically changed at the federal leadership level – by an interfering sham association, is that interference to be condoned by Canadian Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Election officials?
Do Canadians care enough about democracy in Canada to hold an immediate federal by-election in the riding of Carleton to reassess the will of the electorate without the “election process protest strategy” interference, the associated confusion, the visual intimidation, the physical distraction, and other specific or combined encumbrances?

Hi Jim. Unfortunately facts don’t seem to matter much anymore.Winning is everything regardless of how it’s accomplished.

Sadly, that appears to be the new norm, and hence the validity of my questions. Thanks for responding, Rick, and for following my posts.
God bless,
Jim
