STANHOPE BEACH, PEI
Every bench has a history; this one much more so than most. Who built it, how was it built, and when did it come into being? Why was it placed here? But, as is the case with much greater things, such questions about this bench miss the insightful mark: not the how, nor the when, nor the where nor even the why… but rather the loves behind the why and all the other questions. Why not sit down, close your eyes, and rest awhile…and listen with an open heart.
